Award-Winning Aberdeen Winery and Vacation Property Available for Purchase

Westport Winery, a regionally recognized and well-established producer of award-winning wine and spirits located in Aberdeen, WA. has been placed on the market. The listing includes the popular winery, restaurant, and vacation homes located on the property, along with 21-acres of land and 9 buildings totaling more than 25,000 square feet.

Established in 2008, Westport Winery has grown to produce 5,000 cases of wine and nearly 900 cases of spirits annually. Grapes are purchased from established vineyards in Eastern Washington rather than grown on site. Instead, 15 acres of the property have been developed into a walking garden for guests to enjoy.

The rest of the property houses wine production and warehousing, the distillery, a tasting room and gift shop, the acclaimed Sea Glass Grill and two residential homes that are available for visitors to rent through the Vineyards By-the-Sea vacation rental operation. Public access to the adjacent Chehalis Wildlife Area is available through the parking lot. More than 100,000 people visit the resort each year.

Additionally, recent zoning changes allow for the potential to further develop the property to include more vacation attractions. Plans have already been developed for the addition of 20 more overnight accommodations in either separate cottages or a multi-unit lodge. A lodge built on the property would include panoramic views of the display garden. The site also includes a 3-acre wooded area with trails along a creek and a bridge that would be suitable for an aerial park with ziplines, providing more entertainment options for visitors.

In 2022, Westport Winery was named “Washington Winery of the Year” by Great Northwest Wine Magazine. It is currently the seventh platinum-winning winery in the northwest and has won more than 700 medals from international wine competitions. Its renowned Rapture of the Deep, a sparkling cranberry wine, has been selected as one of the top 50 wines in the Northwest three times by the Seattle Times.
